.... and his curse. Like the child he is mentally, he loves animals, but he inadvertently crushes them to death. Women, to him, are rather like animals, -- soft, small, and gentle. And there lies the tension that powers this narrative to its tragic conclusion. The film version and the novel are very similar. There is minimal description in the novel, enough to set the scene, and the rest is dialogue. The film's story is very pure and lean as Steinbeck's original. Producer/director Gary Sinise and screenwriter Horton Foote don't try do anything fancy, they don't try to make it anything other than exactly what it is, a timeless simple .....

.... ending crave for power and wealth begins. As we can assume from the play's title, Lear and his daughters are part of the main plot. The plot of Gloucester and his sons, is considered parallel. Gloucester is portrayed also with family problems. He experiences trouble with his two sons, Edgar and Edmund. This parallel plot that ties in with the main one sometimes actually comes into unison and characters interact with each other. The parallel plot can be taken into account as a "back-up" or "supporting" one. It proves the point Shakespeare is trying to make in his main plot. Gloucester's problems can be compared with Lear' .....

This is one of the easier comparisons since you can tell if parts of the plot have been rearranged. An example of a change to the plot is when (in the book) Romeo first meets Juliet. Romeo says about fifty words to Juliet and kisses her. While she is being kissed, the Nurse calls her away because her mother wishes to see her. In the movie, Juliet is called away even before Romeo talks to her. Juliet is called away to dance with Paris, .....

Once again I don’t not know how you can justify supporting a murderer as selfish and as cruel as Richard III. .....

At one point in the movie she says, "Now sweeties, what do you say when you meet a nice man?" "Are you my daddy?' The children answer. When they are trying to make fun of the hood they over do it too much. For example making soup out of malt liquor and marijuana. Also cops playing beat up Rodney King video game during their free time. On the house to one of the door they use grenades as a door knocker. This movie is based on stereo .....

While the witches never said this, Macbeth assumed that that was what they meant and the subsequent murder of Duncan was carried out by Macbeth himself, but, he also ordered special murderers to kill Banquo, Lady Macduff and her children. The murder and bloodshed had absolutely nothing to do with the witches. Macbeth acted totally out of his own will and beliefs. Although Macbeth murdered Duncan, it was not planned and thought out. When Macbeth heard the prediction given to him by the three witches, he wrote a letter to his wife (Lady Macbeth). On reading this lett .....

By the use of animal imagery the reader can see the hate towards the marriage. The reader can also see how Hamlet feels about how quick his mother remarried by the use of the phrase "mourned longer." Another disturbance in nature comes from Macbeth's mouth, "Now o'er the one half-world / Nature seems dead" (Lines 49 - 50). This statement might mean that everywhere he looks, the world seems dead (there is no hope). It might also give him the idea that the murder he is about to commit will have repercussions spreading far. The doctor says in Act V, Scene i, Line 10, "A great perturbation in nature," while talking about Lady Macbeth' .....

Othello's gullibility causes him to be jealous. During the story Romeo and Juliet convince them selves to be in love with each other and they become obsessed, not with the love for each other, but with the fact of being in love with each other. Young people like to do forbidden things it gives them a feeling of exhilaration and freedom and that's exactly what Romeo and Juliet were doing.
