King Lear - Evil
Number of words: 632 | Number of pages: 3.... by humans and not the gods. Edgar said,
"The gods are just, and of our peasant vices make instruments to plague us"
(ACT V, iii, 169). Edgar clearly says that the gods are right and it is
the people who are responsible for promoting evil in the world. It is us
who make the instruments necessary for evil to spread and plague the world.
In the world of King Lear many characters believe evil was caused by the
people and not by the gods.
Even though evil was created by humans good will always exist. After
King Lear was captured he showed that even if evil exists, good will always
be present. Lear speaks about love with Co .....

Macbeth: A Tragic Hero
Number of words: 1120 | Number of pages: 5.... has come true! He can not believe it! But now
Macbeth has a lot more on his mind; the third prophecy about becoming the
King. Macbeth knows that if something were to happen to Duncan, Malcolm
and Donalbain, Duncan's sons, would be the rightful heirs to the throne.
How can Macbeth be King when he is nowhere near the next in line to the
throne? Another requirement for a tragic hero is that he must have a
tragic flaw. Macbeth's tragic flaw is that of ambition; Macbeth's ambition
will cause him to decline.
At this point, Lady Macbeth knows all about the witches prophecies.
She really wants to be Queen of Scotland so she encoura .....

Grease: Theme
Number of words: 504 | Number of pages: 2.... sequence.
That brings up the main draw of GREASE -- the music. As I type this, at least one Top 40 station across the country is playing the "Grease Megamix," a medley of the three most popular songs from the movie ("You're the One That I Want," "Greased Lightning" and "Summer Nights"). Travolta and Newton-John's songs in the film have become karaoke favorites, and the movie soundtrack is actually back in the upper reaches of the charts.
Travolta, the archetype of cool, plays Danny Zuko, car- loving greaser who bosses around a bunch of tough-guy clones. Newton-John plays Sandy, the virginal good-girl from Australia he had a f .....

The Preponderant Lysistrata
Number of words: 1195 | Number of pages: 5.... Without the women, the men “walk around the city bent over like men lighting matches in a wind” (726, 1028-9). Lysistrata uses her knowledge to gain power over them by summoning all of the women together and calling for “a sex-strike against war” (701). This “sex-strike” puts the men in “a pretty high-strung condition” (727, 1102) and also puts them at the mercy of the women. Sex is the only commonality of any significance between the different groups of men; therefore, sex has to be the object or action to be boycotted to give control over the men to the women.
The second step in proving the women’s intellig .....

For example, my advertisement is advertising Reebok, but I don't need it, I can
live with slippers or nothing at all; nevertheless, wearing a pair of Reebok
shoe would be more comfortable.
I think advertising is the right to choose. When something is
advertised, it does not mean that you have to buy it, but it is giving you a
choice. For example, my advertisement is trying to persuade me to buy Reebok,
but it is just giving me one choice of my several choices of sportswear.
Recently, I went in a chat room called "help", and asked for .....
