Throughout this epic poem , various heroic elements can be appreciated, which reflect the values by which the Anglo-Saxon society lived as strength, loyalty, and bravery. Beowulf has outstanding characteristics that convert him into a real hero. In this epic, Beowulf use strength in all fights to get out victoriously. He and some minor characters demonstrates loyalty during the battles to serve the warriors who where there. Finally, Beowulf displays bravery, during fights, and struggles with natural facts . Who then will rescue this individual and save him from the terrors of the world? There is also a political system on the island just as there is in our society. Ralph is the children’s elected representative. He appoints hunters (or an army in our case) and a leader to this group on the island. He also appoints people to look after the fire, people to get water, to get food and make shelters .....

He a weak person socially, but he is also physically disabled because of an injury that he suffered during the war. He suffered an injury that caused him to be castrated. .... This idea is portrayed throughout the book by Jim the run-away slave who floats down the river with Huck. The author portrays this idea through the way Jim acts, the way Huck and other whites treat Jim, and how Jim is forced into hiding whenever he is around whites other than Huck, king, and duke. The second main idea is how free everyone was back then. People could up and leave any time they wanted and live prosperously off the land. Finny storms out of the Assembly Hall in which Gene's trial is being held and begins running down the corridor. At this point, Finny fully realizes that Gene intentionally shook the limb, which made Finny fall out of the tree. Finny is in denial, thus causing him to storm out of the room. When Finny reaches the marble staircase, he falls, breaking his leg once again. This injury kills him due to the doctor's mistake while setting the broken bone.
