Even though initially he does not see the need for an advocate, he allows himself to be persuaded by his uncle to engage one. No matter what he does to try and prove his innocence it seems to be a forgone conclusion the he will be found guilty. This is also true about his relationship with his father. The accusing court represents his inability to be what his father demands. The power of the court and the growing control it exerts over Joseph K as the novel progresses are an abstraction of the co .....

He gives his son the best schooling in the form of music he loves the most: the Piano. The book after it has dealt with the past then goes into the present. .....

The owners no longer had absolute power over the strikers. The unification of the strikers increased their power, which commanded recognition from the growers. In recognition of sending a representative like Mr. Bolter into the camp to talk with London initialized the beginning of negations. However the power .....
