Samuel wanted this to be the best movie he had ever produced, so he was trying to think of ways to make the movie the best it could possibly be, and then it came to him. He could try to get a hold of Glinda the good witch and see if she an Ozma could try to get Dorothy and anyone else who wanted to come, to New York. He would assure her that Dorothy wouldn’t have to do anything that would make her uncomfortable. He hoped she would be able to go to a few press conferences and maybe appe .....

Jim Morrison uses words as much for their emotive effect as their meaning. The song suggests rather than states a mind filled with fears of sex, violence and death. Its the imagery more than the meaning of the words themselves that gets the message across. The imagery is terrifying-"the snake is long" and he's "old and his skin is cold." A symbol of evil if combined with images of sex and death. After a "Roman wilderness of pain" we take on .....

Poe describes the look the disease has given Usher, a faint blush upon her bosom, and her smile upon the lip which is so terrible in death. Poe uses character to develop terror in his story. The theme of “The Fall of the House of Usher” contributes to the total effect. The theme of the story, which is, the narrator is unable to escape the terror that is overwhelming his friends. The narrator hears a distinct, hollow, metallic, and clangorous reverberation. This shows that the narrator .....

"I got the conch I tell you" Piggy screamed in attempt to gain the boys' lost attention, "I tell you I got the conch." Good finally prevailed and Piggy gained the boys' attention. Never once did Piggy resort to violence, even when his glasses were stolen, he proved he was above violence. Unlike Jack, Piggy never killed. Piggy never hunted or kill a pig, let alone hurt another human being, he used his mind not his size to get attention. Being the biggest boy on the i .....

.... and inappropriate behavior encouraged by Jack. Ralph=s only supporter is Piggy, a fat asthmatic boys who nobody likes because he is always lecturing and criticizing everyone=s behavior. Jack bullies him constantly and the other boys make fun of him. Jack and his followers spend most of their time hunting for wild pigs so Ralph=s efforts to organize the group fail. By now, most of the older boys are beginning to act like savages, hunting wild pigs, going into a frenzy when they succeed and celebrate their kill with wild dancing around a fire. One night during an air-battle, a body of a parachutist lands on the island .....
