Personal Writing: I Love Horror Novels
Number of words: 808 | Number of pages: 3.... off
of a bridge) I seem to receive my mad phantasms out of thin air. For
example, when I first began writing the first draft of this essay, I
started out writing about writing horror stories and ended up writing a
short story about a vampire in London. It is safe to say I get ideas out
of thin air.
When I do capture the intangible, I literally feel a rushing sensation
in my head! I feel like a kid on a roller coaster. I feel astonished,
excited, and hyper. Quite often my mother will stick her head into my
room because she wants to find out what I'm giggling about. I usually tell
her I'm thinking about a joke I heard on .....

him. She greeted him with a loud burp which was a common courtesy among
Gnomanians. After greeting him she also sprinkled him with some of her fairy
dust. She handily carried it around in her turban. She naturally invited him
in for dinner where they ate lots of mosquitoes. After dinner, they watched a
cheap imitation of television. They used a big box to put different animals in
and called it the Discovery channel. By the end of the day Knob was
getting a little weary, so he decided to return home.
When he returned form Gnollie his pet snark was there to welocme h .....

Okonkwo's Exile
Number of words: 1272 | Number of pages: 5.... to calm him down, but it was
no use, I had never seen him this upset before. We then helped him pack his
yams, and stored them in my barn. I was to sell these yams while Okonkwo
served his exile. When we finished, he and his family left for Mbanta, his
motherland. As he was leaving, we waved good-bye, but he was too upset to
respond.
The next day a pack of men, including I went over to Okonkwo's
compound. There we set his huts on fire, demolished his red walls, and
destroyed his barns along with his animals. I hated every second of this,
but I had to do it, because if I hadn't, the Earth goddess would have been
tremendo .....

Dana Scully arrived home to find a package sitting in the hallway outside her

herself into the apartment. Once inside, she set the box wrapped in brown paper

off her high heels. Mulder would be coming over later to discuss the case they
were currently working on, but until then, she w .....

Personal Writing: What I Learned This Semester In English Class
Number of words: 713 | Number of pages: 3.... to write a paper that will get a good grade. Now, my goal is to
write better papers. I write to become a better writer.
That is, I feel, a very important thing that I learned this semester. I
don't think, "O.K., I have to get at least a B on this paper." Instead, I
think, "O.K., I have to use this assignment to improve my work." This is a
much better approach because it causes the writer to try to produce a well
written piece. Writing for a grade often causes the writer to do just
enough to get by.
I also learned that it is much easier to produce a good piece of writing if
I am kept interested. By choosing our own topic .....

Personal Writing: My Personal Opinion About Alien Life
Number of words: 451 | Number of pages: 2.... like "Mars lives!" and "The
Creators". What I find a bit strange is that the NASA announced the
discovery just before the government decided where to place its annual
funds. Makes you wonder if the announcement was not "rushed" a little. If
that is what it takes for the government invest more money into space and
SETI (Search for extra-terrestrial intelligence) programs than I thank the
NASA personally.
Sky is not the limit anymore and the stars are our future. As long as
we are on earth our future is not guarantied; any second a meteorite could

Creative Writing: My Idea Of Where The Heck Life Came From
Number of words: 337 | Number of pages: 2.... rocks on Mars. Also, bribed sources from
inside the Pentagon and NASA have quoted that they have found bone
fragments of what appear to be little creatures resembling monkeys, and
also these balls of hair with an unknown origin. Really. I Promise. Want
more proof? Remember that face on Mars? The one in the Cydonia basin next
to the pyramids and the martian airport? If you look at the face cross-eyed
and crooked it looks like a cat!
In conclusion, I believe that my theory of the origin of life
should be investigated further. Who knows; it just could be true! Everyone
has their own thoughts and ideas of where life came from; except .....
