What Family Is To Me

instead of lying to me and having me find out later in life that I wasn't their
biological son. This respect that my parents gave me, in turn gave me their
trust. And I gave them the respect and trust that was given to me.
Without sacrifice, a family cannot be. The sacrifices that family
members make for each other show the willingness to be an unselfish part of a
family. Sacrifices also display the love, respect and trust in a family. I
know that even though some of the time it may not seem that my parents would
sacrifice anything for me, I realize that they would do anything for and
everything for me and that .....

After a few more last minute adjustments, I pulled into the staging lane

the entire view before me as he blends into a larger picture.
I see grey. Every shade of grey, in all its variety blends and
curves from the lightest near whites, to a deepness rivaling black. The
darkness overhead drones with the sound of a thousand automobile tires
humming on the top of the bridge. Though designed for another purpose, it
serves well as protection from the rain and weather. The sun and light, as
well as the wind, come from the sides. The wind blows softly this morn,
yet it nips at exposed skin. I know I will soon appreciate its soothing
aspects as I warm up .....

The second runner shouted. I darted forth. I put my hand back. I felt the

Spy Games - Creative Essay

week we'd have at least one meeting at my house to talk about how things
were going. Sometimes depending on the case or goal we were pursuing, the
meetings would run on into the late of night.
I guess it could be said that I was leader of our group. The meetings
were held at my house, and I was the one who brought together the present
group of agents. In the theme of espionage, we referred to everyone as an
agent. Never as a friend. However we preferred to think of our agency,
which we had given the name of the Renegades, as a collective. That is,
everybody had a say in what we did.
My bedroom was in the basement of .....
