Third, the comedy also has a serious side, though, as we remember our mothers exerting their great frustrations upon the household tasks of cleanliness. In Night, Wiesel effectively illustrates the drastic changes that the Jews go through; from average citizens with family, friends, and loved ones into savage, independent beasts who look out for no one else and must fight for their own well-being. At the beginning of the novel, Elie describes his community, the Jewish community of Sighet, as a very caring and unified society. When the Hungarian police, and later the SS officers, force them to move into ghettoes and eventually institute the deportation of the Jews into concentration cam .....

He does not see this place as land or a country, but the building blocks for such things. He thinks he is in the heavens, not on the planet. He feels like he is in his own universe. The landscape adds a sense of loneliness as well. He looks at the land and there is nothing he can hold onto so he will know where he is, no mountains or anything. The feelings of awe can also be read as loneliness. He is looking in wonder at this new land, but he feels so alone. He is in the middle of no .....

.... Another actor that seemes to change drastically is Tybalt. In the original version, he seems to be much more in control. Tybalt in the newer version is extremely bitter and much more controlled by his uncle. There are other subtle differences between the two movies, including the scenes. The original movie is set in a very traditional setting. The party takes place in a castle and everything is very fitting for the time frame. Not very original, but still effective. The new version is a bit more imaginative. It's not only more modern, but it's an amplified version of our world today; something that appeals to the vie .....

Since Shine was part of the Titanic crew, he perhaps knew that swimming was his only chance to save his life; he was not going to stay there and drown. As Shine swam to shore, he came across a whale that wanted to eat him; this probably made Shine swim faster. Shine just wanted to get to safety. He perhaps thought that if he was not willing to stay on the ship while it sank, which would inevitable have led him to drown or get eaten by sharks or whales, he would not let this whale eat him up. Humanity cannot respect or are incapable of respecting power. The “idiot” (Harry) symbolizes modern society’s ignorance. This enforces the theme that mankind could destroy itself. By using metaphors and symbolism, this theme is expressed quite interestingly. Chicken Little the story that is read to harry by Mr. niemand also presents many ideas to the reader. This implies that Hester's sin of bearing a child without the presence of a husband will always be remembered. Indeed, even after the sphere opens and the horrific Martians emerge and kill several people, this idea of supremacy does not fade. Gravity seems to act on the Martians "like a cope of lead" (perhaps this is an allusion to the punishment of the hypocrites in Dante's Inferno, where they were forced to wear beautiful robes that were of lead), and our narrator believes that, if worst comes to worst, "a shell in the pit will kill them all." Our narrator even denounces the Martians' "short sighted timidity." As the book progresses into .....

.... was break up the family so that it was sort of dysfunctional. The family suffered severely from the change in religion. Racism, another important factor in the novel, which lead to the actual aspect of death. This was portrayed at the start of the novel when it talks about how Abraham’s two sons got hung in the Town Square for the same fact of being a different race/religion. This was hard for that family to deal with and for a long while it was also killing the family members inside to know that they had loss loved ones. Especially Abraham whom loss his two first sons whom where supposed to be very gifted. At one point .....
