He knew that if his action did not kill the Green Knight, his fate would be death in one year and one day. He was prepared to face this fate and continued his actions as planned. As it turns out, the knight did not perish, and so Gawain was forced to go through with another segment of the passage rites. The speaker in this poem seems frustrated; he delicately tries to inform his coy mistress that their death is near, and they still have not had sexual intercourse. In lines 17-33 the poem seems to lose the exaggeration sense and sudd .....

Even if he had values , that is still not reason to say he should not burn in hell for his actions. To say Faustus’s punishment is illogical is absurd. The man sold his soul to the devil twice. He totally rebuked God and the bible. The bible clearly says that those who are not saved by the grace of God shall burn in .....
