And when they look for a messenger to go find flowers, they’re talking about re-finding the tranquillity and lack of fear that they wanted. I believe that the burials, actually represent life. It may sound a bit peculiar, but in real life once you get accustomed to living a happy, joyful life, you then will not be able to live without it and so, you will need to do practically anything, as the people in the star did, to find the “flowers”. .... lines of the second stanza, where it says: “In what distant deeps or skies Burnt the fire of thine eyes?” The images of “distant deeps or skies” again presents images of a realm of darkness, and one is reminded again of the traditional interpretation of hell. It is implied that the “fire of thine eyes” had its origins in this place, thus reinforcing the symbol. The image of fire in connection with the tiger is conceived again, this time within the eyes. The fire in a tiger’s eyes can be seen as a symbol of ferocity, and it takes no stretch of the imagination to look upon Satan in the same way as well. In the fourt .....

.... was a fake. As the time lengthened, both of these young adults fell into a deeper hole of depression. Neither in which realized their mental collapses. As their conditions get worse, the thought of suicide enters both their minds. After each character had reached their ultimate low, thoughts of suicide crossed their minds. Holden stated, “I woke up singing this morning. I mean, I was happy and all. But last night, what I really felt like was jumping out the window. All I could see were these phonies - I never left the house though. They were on TV, in books and stuff, acting out madman stuff in the god dam movies. I swe .....

.... Prep, a boy's school in Pennsylvania, to the end where an obviously senile Holden, back at the rest home, claims he will be able to leave soon and that he will go back to school next September. I found the ending to be anti-climactic, but it was still pretty humorus. The overall book seems to be more of a confession than a story, but it provides an entertaining change. The grizzled Holden "spills his guts" to a psychoanylist, revealing an entertaining plot to an entertaining book. One of the most important "angles" in the story is that the narrator is in an awkward psychlogical state. Also, there seem to be a few disc .....

.... short stay, Sylvy realized many things. The hunter offered money in exchange for help in finding the heron's nest. Not only was his offer tempting and attractive, but a curiosity awakened in her as he was most attractive as well. She was somewhat intrigued and in a fog, taken each moment and each step one at a time, carefully, slowly. Sylvy seems to come to her senses in the twelfth hour when she climbs high into the trees early one morning to see the white heron fly in ever so close. It was as though their was a kinship between the two, an understanding. Because of this special feeling for the bird, Sylvy could not succumb .....
