During Hamlets play the "mouse Trap" Claudius acts guilty by standing and making a commotion and stopping the play. But yet this is still not enough for Hamlet he has to have him admit his guilt. This is another reason why Hamlet delays on killing his Uncle. In the last scene of the play Claudius makes a big plan to ensure Hamlets death. In this plan he poisons a drink that is for Hamlet. This illustrates quite clearly that that she has far less immediate guilt for the crime and rather more physical repugnance towards her husband’s blood stained hands. “ It will have blood they say; blood will have blood”, (III,iv,122) .....

.... can be set out in many different formats, and does not necessarily need to make complete sense (even though it has a meaning) Prose is set out in a ordered way where one sentence is always followed by another sentence, it follows the same punctuation rules and a continuous, logical pattern. The reason I think that everyone defines poetry differently is that we are exposed to so many totally different types of poetry. My favourite form of poetry is song lyrics. Although not one of the most obvious forms of poetry it is becoming increasingly popular especially with young people who are exposed to it regularly. For example .....

The only thing they can do is toss him into a wagon. The fact one word can add to the meaning so much shows how the diction of this poem adds greatly to its effectiveness. Likewise, the use of figurative language in this poem also helps to emphasize the points that are being made. As Perrine says, people use metaphors because they say "...what we want to say more vividly and forcefully..." Owen capitalizes greatly on this by using s .....

Lewis also has a gift for making strong points in his novel without making the reader feel guilty, because he uses such human characters that are filled with normal and relatable flaws. Even with the main character's name, Ransom he sends a message, because as you read this book, you will see how his name comes to play. This book is very involved and it's not a book to be taken lightly. This is a book with a lot of inner meaning. It talks about the dark side of humanity. Filled with comedy, acti .....

.... He would not be mistaken for a criminal. This surprises the grandmother, because he not only is very innocent looking but he is acting very intelligently. He presents himself in a very polite manner, and his facial expressions and his clothing speak very highly of himself. He acts very polite under the circumstances, which is out in the middle of nowhere. The atmosphere shows how calm and collected he can be which shows no sign of a lunatic from prison. So what the grandmother read at the beginning of the story about the misfit had given a false interpretation of him. Behavior is also a major characteristic of the Misfit. .....

Anse plays "to perfection the role of the grief-stricken widower" (Bleikasten 84) while secretly thinking only of getting another wife and false teeth in Jefferson. When it becomes necessary to drive the wagon across the river, he proves himself to be undeniably lazy as he makes Cash, Jewel, and Darl drive the wagon across while he walks over the bridge, a spectator.
