As a result of the ethnic battle, the boy ultimately lives up to the expectations of the white men. He expects to live with "his head in the Lion's mouth(174)" and undermine the white man with a covert retaliation, but unfortunately he slips his head out of the lion's .....

Sleeping with the master that night meant the lanterns outside your room were lit up and, an added incentive, was being able to get a foot massage that night. The master’s decision of who to sleep with that night evoked jealousy between the “sisters.” This increased the excitement of the movie and led to the main struggle between the fourth mistres .....

Even though the Colonel had been dead for almost ten years the old women insisted they see him and leave her alone.
