Adoption Of Children
Number of words: 1366 | Number of pages: 5.... they know is, and instead be proud of it. There are several situations that constitute a need for adoption.
There are many couples that are unable to have children of their own. Adoption allows those couples to experience and enjoy parenthood. Most of the time it is not their choice that they can not have children. They can try everything that is offered medically to get pregnant, and still not succeed. Adopting a child can then become a positive alternative, and it also gives the child a good home with people eager to be good parents. It is a miracle to the parents when they hold their new child because they are given a c .....

Having A Servant’s Heart
Number of words: 971 | Number of pages: 4.... a servant’s heart.
An example of irony is that we as human beings believe that we need to puff ourselves up and draw attention to ourselves in order to be great, when in fact Christ humbled Himself and as a result was exalted and lifted up. Matthew 20:26 says, “It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant.” Jesus was and is our example. Becoming a servant is our key to greatness. Serving others will also strengthen our relationships with our friends, parents, teachers, and anyone else with whom we come in contact. Service is defined as, “the occupation or conditio .....

Equality
Number of words: 396 | Number of pages: 2.... is also wrong. It isn't a person's fault that people
of their race and sex usually get a brake. Reverse discrimination is still
discrimination, and all discrimination is wrong. All discrimination is the same.
No one should discriminate against another ever. Especially if I it is to bring
them self up.
I hope that all people will learn to go about things in a peaceful way.
So many people have died in the past because someone was trying to make a
statement. None of these people should have died. In society today we kill and
will continue to kill to bring justice. Will we ever learn that as long as we
keep trying to get people back .....

First Stand
Number of words: 1465 | Number of pages: 6.... have been prevented. Especially with all the new
technology we have today. Back when it was George Washington leading his
troops there probably wasn’t anything that could have stopped that. I think
most of the violence in wars can be prevented by just sitting down and
looking at all the problems and what the different countries want. If two
sides are at war I think it is the United States’ responsibility to get
between those two sides and stop them from going to war. If the two sides
are stronger than the U.S then the U.S should stand down. Then and ONLY
then. Some people say that God made us a violent species but I don’ .....

Animal Rights
Number of words: 761 | Number of pages: 3.... of high or low intelligence, to suffer that way. In
other laboratories animals are confined to small cages or locked up so that thay
can't move. They are then used to test cosmetics and household chemicals. They
have chemicals poured on to their eyes and skin to see if they cause irritation.
These experiments would hurt the animals by causing burns and evn blinding them
sometimes. I don't think it is right to hold these animals, caged against their
wills and hurting them repeatedly. Nothing is done to ease or prevent their
pain and suffering. There must be a better way to test substances without in
iflicting suffering on .....

How To Get Married And Stay Married To The Perfect Mate!!
Number of words: 580 | Number of pages: 3.... This theory
dictates that people will be more attracted to someone that they have a fair
relationship with. It states that we will be happier with a person who takes as
much as they give to us. Over a long term relationship, like marriage, this is
important because both husband and wife feel that they are approximately equal.
In my book I will talk about how to use this theory to makes sure that both
couples get the same out of the relationship.
I will also talk about proximity in my book. Proximity talks about being
near to your partner. It is important because if one partner is away all the
time, the couple will not become .....

The Use And Abuse The American Language
Number of words: 708 | Number of pages: 3.... an entertainment for me when I’m bored. I spend about five hours watching television, while I’m eating, doing my homework and talking on the phone. This is an example how I rather spend my time watching at a screen with pictures and not paying attention to the language, rather than sitting down and reading a book. By reading a book we learn many things, not only to picture the images in our heads but we also learn how to enhance our grammar and our language Reading was a form of entertainment before television was invented. People would spend their time reading, but ever since television was invented the opportunities .....

National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People
Number of words: 704 | Number of pages: 3.... In a matter of two months,
another conference was held. As a result of that conference, the NAACP was born.
A distinct factor of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored
People, which set it apart from its congruent movement, the Niagara Movement,
was involvement of both races. The early success was due in large part to the
interracial membership (Franklin 91). A large part of the membership consisted
of white socialist and liberals (Franklin). For some time the NAACP was white-
led. In time the Association became black dominated; Specifically, under the
guidance of James Weldon Johnson. During the rule o .....

Teenagers And Sex
Number of words: 637 | Number of pages: 3.... have proven that this viewing is associated with sexually permissive attitudes and behaviors. Until we, as a society, decide to take charge and develop responsible media messages that encourage positive behaviors and attitudes, this will continue.
I disagree very strongly with the author’s choice of harsh words geared toward teen parents. The author is telling them to act like adults and take responsibility like one, but at the same time they are turning right around and using vulgar language and proving they, too, are immature. Where do teens often learn how to behave? From adults!
I do agree, though, with the statement i .....

Tobacco Advertising Makes Young People Their Chief Target
Number of words: 708 | Number of pages: 3.... as many 6-year olds recognize Joe Camel as know Mickey Mouse (Breo). That is very shocking information for any parent to hear.
The industry denies that these symbols target people under 21 and claim that their advertising goal is simply to promote brand switching and loyalty. Many people disagree with this statement such as Illinois Rep. Richard Durbin who states " If we can reduce the number of young smokers, the tobacco companies will be in trouble and they know it "(Roberts). So what do the tobacco companies do to keep their industry alive and well? Seemingly, they go toward a market that is not fully aware of the harm that ci .....
