Watching a film is easy, but actually analyzing it can be very difficult. When most people watch films they do not pay attention to the different technical properties that go into making a film. Raw Deal, which was directed by Anthony Mann in 1948, is a classic example of film noir, which focuses on organized crime and the gangster scene in the forties and fifties.
