The book I read was The Member of the Wedding by Carson McCullers. It takes place in a small Southern town in the early 1900’s. The story is about a young girl, named Frankie Addams, who is in a difficult stage of puberty, and finds that her whole world is changing, and she has to deal with harsh realities of love and life.
