“The Story of an Hour” by Kate Chopin gives us a real insight on marriage and relationships. A woman’s repressed thoughts and feeling are untied due to her husband’s tragedy. Mrs. Mallard is suffocated by her husband’s total control over the marriage. The story is set in the late eighteen hundreds.
