Deep down in the realm of the dead there dwells the god of the
underworld. was worshipped by the Greeks and by the Romans. The Roman
name for him though was Pluto. He became feared by the people because they
were afraid of what happened to them after they were dead. When and
his three brothers overthrew Chronus, he took over the underworld. His
brothers became the gods of the sea and of the heavens. Zeus became the
ruler of the heavens and Posiedon became the ruler of the seas but the most
feared of the three was Hades.
