When one thinks of Brown verses the Board of Education, or the Black-faced Theatre, one thinks of the segregated South. These images could also remind one of the novel, Invisible Man, written by Ralph Ellison. This novel is a realistic depiction of American black life during the 1800s. It can be seen in many ways throughout the novel. One point is that the blacks were denied education.
