Many feminists spend a great deal of time arguing that fairy tales influence women's lives. They argue that the fairy tales have a negative influence. If fairy tales, like Cinderella, only portray negative influences, should they be banned from children's reading list? They should if they have the same affects on men as well. In the fairy tale Cinderella all the men in the story are princes. By being princes it implies that they are rich. When one reads the fairy tale and sees that every male is wealthy he strives to become this person. ....
