We placed our hands over our hearts and held our eyes wide at the flag, in the corner, behind the teacher's desk at the start of everyday. This morning tradition will last though the last day of school, the day of graduation. Some of us would dance nervously as we said the tried words, some stood calm and still, others silently mouthed the promise, and even some sweaky voices to join our chorus. There were thirty or so of us, pledging allegiance to the Flag of the United Sates of America. And this flag we pledge to, it stands for freedom. ....
