Personal Writing: My Dog Oso
Number of words: 660 | Number of pages: 3.... take me to the corner store to buy candy and ice cream. At that time I was delighted, as the trip to the corner store was an epic journey, which I had never taken on foot, only by car. I did not notice or care that Jake, normally tyrannical, dictatorial, and abusive, was being unusually nice to me that day
Well, after the saga of the corner store ended, I was seated by my mother, who gently, nicely, and calmly told me that, Oso, after 16 years, was dead.
I knew what death was, my grandfather had just passed on that same month. I just did not realise the exact implications of it. I asked my mother to do what all mothers do bes .....

Personal Writing: My Trip To Washington D.C And Arlington National Cemetery
Number of words: 210 | Number of pages: 1.... inevitably lost their lives. What questions did they have
about the war in which they were fighting? Was their country worth dying
for? These questions will forever remain unanswered; however, their tombs
will permanently remain to remind generation after generation that some
things are worth fighting for.
Upon arriving home from my trip to Washington D. C, I realized how
lucky I am to have the opportunity to live and study freely in the United
States. If it had not been for the many soldiers who fought to keep the
United States a free country, who knows what the world would be like today.
The courage that each one of those so .....

Personal Writing: My Vacation At Beech Mountain, North Carolina
Number of words: 1009 | Number of pages: 4.... these sections.
Sometimes I sit and observe all of nature’s critters at work: rabbits digging, squirrels playing, and birds chirping. I also enjoy the wonderful views nature has to give. It is absolutely breathtaking: the colors of the flowers in the springtime. Bright yellows, warm reds, soft blues and hushed purples paint the mountainside a beautiful rainbow. I like to write poetry when I’m surrounded with such beauty; not necessarily about what I see, but how I feel and what I dream. Nature inspires my artistic side.
A very special place in my mind, as well as in my heart, is reserved for one memory from a .....

Creative Writing: Hackers Manifesto
Number of words: 559 | Number of pages: 3.... door opened to a world... rushing through
the phone line like heroin through an addict's veins, an electronic pulse is
sent out, a refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought... a board is
found. "This is it... this is where I belong..." I know everyone here...
even if I've never met them, never talked to them, may never hear from them
again...
I know you all... Damn kid. Tying up the phone line again. They're all alike...
You bet your ass we're all alike... we've been spoon-fed baby food at school
when we hungered for steak... the bits of meat that you did let slip through
were pre-chewed and tasteless. We've been domina .....

What Is Freedom
Number of words: 385 | Number of pages: 2.... crap. I feel people should have the right
to know what they want to know without being accused of breaking and
entering, and trespassing in someone else's computer.
I think people are just getting defensive when I seem to know more
than I should know. Like, a teacher or someone that has supposedly had
high level of training, or is an expert in a subject, feels pressured or
challenged because of the fact that I might know more than he or she does
just by gift or extreme talent. I feel this is the only reason they made a
law against curious people or hackers.
People shouldn't be so stupid and just admit sometimes that t .....

Why I Hate The Mall
Number of words: 1098 | Number of pages: 4.... these gaudy monstrosities across the country? Despite the fact that the era
of eighties-decadence has passed, the malls keep coming, and they keep getting
bigger. It's like something out of an Ed Wood flick.
I remember reading an article about how bad it's gotten. The largest
mall in America has 425 retail shops, 4.2 million square feet of space, over 13
thousand free parking spaces, 44 escalators, and cost $625 million dollars to
build. Oh, did I mention that there is a full blown amusement park in the center
of it all. It's just sick. When I was in Freeport, I remember hearing a radio
show which was running a conte .....

My Trip To The Philippines

will never see this in Taiwan." In Taiwan, everybody use chopsticks to eat.
Nobody will use spoon and folk to eat, because that's a kind of hard. Just like
my first time used the spoon and folk. I doesn't know either to use my left hand
to hold spoon or use my right hand.
People have longer weekend than Taiwan. Both Sunday and Saturday are their
weekend. In Taiwan, we can only have Sunday and half Saturday. For adults, they
even only have Sunday to rest. That's unfair to adults. They should have longer
weekend then kids, because they worked so hard. So, adults most be exhausted
after hard work.
People are h .....

he did gobble the pig into quivering chunks. Then he went to the house that
beheld the second pig, And he did blow it down, and he did devour the pigeon

This was the last and oldest pig, and he did wield a great Claymore sword. With
one chop the pig did lop off the head of the evil wolf, and blood did steam and
there was much rejoicing. Then the remains of digested pig did ooze out of the

the pigs were restored, and there was much rejoicing.
